Q1: Is GMS-AS natural?

A1: It’s a semi-natural emulsifier, derived from natural fats but ethoxylated for better performance.

Q2: Can I use it as the only emulsifier?

A2: Yes — GMS-AS can form stable emulsions solo, but it pairs well with thickeners for enhanced texture.

Q3: Does it leave a greasy film?

A3: No — it provides a light, soft, velvety feel.

Q4: Is it suitable for baby products?

A4: Yes — it’s very mild, non-sensitizing, and used in baby lotions.

Q5: What’s the difference between GMS-SE and GMS-AS?

A5: GMS-SE is self-emulsifying and anionic (needs stabilizers). GMS-AS is non-ionic, more stable and universally compatible.
