About Lilial

Lilial, also known as Butylphenyl Methylpropional, is a well-known muguet-type (lily of the valley) floral aroma compound with a soft, creamy, powdery-floral scent and subtle green-woody undertones. Used for decades in perfumery, Lilial provides clean, elegant freshness and floral diffusion, perfect for soapy florals, white florals, and vintage aldehydic perfumes.

It’s an effective floral modifier that enhances the body and brightness of muguet, freesia, peony, jasmine, and aldehydic compositions.
