EGDS (Ethylene Glycol Distearate) – Pearlizing & Thickening Agent for Shampoos & Washes

EGDS (Ethylene Glycol Distearate) is a cosmetic-grade, non-ionic opacifier and pearlizing agent, widely used in shampoos, face washes, and body washes. It gives formulations a smooth, white, creamy appearance, enhancing both the look and feel of the product. Derived from stearic acid and ethylene glycol, it also contributes to mild thickening and emulsifying stability in surfactant blends.
